Description

The DAAO6604-8 is a temperature-controlled, tank-fed emergency shower and eyewash enclosure engineered for hot-climate industrial environments where stored or incoming water temperatures may exceed the suitable range for emergency flushing.

An integrated 1500 L insulated water tank, water chiller and circulation system work together to control flushing-water temperature under high ambient conditions. The standard configuration is designed for ambient temperatures from +5°C to +55°C, with project-engineered configurations available for more demanding operating conditions.
The self-contained tank provides a dedicated emergency water reserve where a reliable tepid-water supply is unavailable or cannot be guaranteed. The shower and eyewash system is designed to deliver the required emergency flushing flow, while the integrated circulation and temperature-control system continuously manages stored-water conditions.
A bottom collection tray and dedicated drain connection provide controlled discharge of used flushing water. Internal lighting improves visibility during emergency operation, while optional audible/visual alarms, DCS/PLC signal interfaces, automatic water filling, and hazardous-area electrical packages can be integrated according to project requirements.
Available in AISI 304 or AISI 316L stainless steel, the DAAO6604-8 can be engineered for chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, energy, mining, and other high-temperature industrial applications.

Hazardous-Area Configuration
Project-specific hazardous-area packages are available with explosion-protected electrical components, including alarm devices, control/interface panels, conduit, instrumentation, and associated electrical equipment.
ATEX / IECEx configurations available according to project hazardous-area classification.

Alarm & Control Integration
Local audible/visual alarm and remote signal interfaces can be integrated with shower and eyewash activation. Hazardous-area configurations are available with explosion-protected alarm devices, control panels, and signal interface equipment for connection to site DCS/PLC systems.
