Description:
The DAAO6623 is a pedestal-mounted stainless steel emergency eye/face wash with a protective ABS coating, designed for immediate flushing where personnel may be exposed to hazardous or corrosive substances affecting the eyes and face.
Designed for connection to a continuous site flushing-water supply, the unit delivers ≥11.4 L/min eye/face wash flow under the specified water-supply conditions. Its compact, floor-mounted configuration makes it suitable for locations where a full combination shower and eyewash system is not required.
Built on a stainless steel base structure with an ABS-coated exterior, the DAAO6623 provides enhanced surface protection for corrosive industrial environments while maintaining the structural strength of the stainless steel construction. Project-specific piping connections and other engineering options are also available.

01 — Controlled Laminar Eye/Face Wash Flow
The eye/face wash is designed to produce a balanced laminar flushing pattern, with an optional flow-control valve to regulate water flow for gentle, stable and effective irrigation of the eyes and face.
02 — Dual-Nozzle Eye/Face Flushing
Dual spray nozzles provide simultaneous flushing to both eyes and the face, with protective covers helping keep the spray outlets clean when not in use.
03 — Stainless Steel Construction
AISI 304 stainless steel construction provides strength and corrosion resistance, with AISI 316L available as an option for more demanding industrial environments.
04 — Factory Water & Pressure Tested
Assembled units are tested before shipment to verify water flow, valve operation, connections, and overall flushing performance.
05 — High-Visibility Emergency Identification
Universal emergency signage and high-visibility identification markings help personnel quickly locate the eyewash station when required.
06 — Compact Pedestal Configuration
The floor-mounted pedestal design provides a dedicated eye/face wash station with a compact footprint, suitable for locations where an emergency shower is not required.

Optional Engineering Configurations
Pressure Reducing Valve
Optional pressure reducing valve (PRV) regulates high or fluctuating inlet pressure to maintain a controlled downstream pressure suitable for emergency shower and eyewash operation.
Anti-Scald Protection Valve
Optional anti-scald valve provides protection where excessive supply-water temperature may occur, helping prevent potentially overheated water from reaching the emergency flushing equipment.
Piping Connections
Threaded, flanged, and project-specific connection configurations are available to match site piping and project requirements.
Alarm & Monitoring
Optional activation monitoring and alarm configurations include flow switch, local audible/visual alarm, dry-contact output, and DCS/PLC interface.
Hazardous-Area Configuration
Explosion-protected alarm, monitoring, and electrical components can be configured according to the project hazardous-area classification.
