Description:
The DAAO6615-E is a cable-heated freeze-protected combination emergency shower and eye/face wash station designed for industrial facilities requiring reliable emergency flushing performance in cold climate environments.
Based on the standard combination shower and eyewash configuration, the unit integrates a high-flow emergency shower and eye/face wash in a single floor-mounted system, providing ≥75.7 L/min shower flow and ≥11.4 L/min eye/face wash flow under the specified water-supply conditions.
Equipped with an electric heat-tracing cable system, the DAAO6615-E provides active freeze protection for critical piping components by maintaining suitable temperatures during sub-zero conditions, helping prevent pipe freezing and ensuring equipment availability in cold outdoor installations.
Constructed for demanding industrial environments, the system can be configured with AISI 304 stainless steel, optional AISI 316L materials, and explosion-proof electrical components (Ex II T4–T6) according to project requirements.
01 — Active Cable Heat-Tracing Protection
Integrated electric heat-tracing cables provide active thermal protection for critical piping components, helping reduce the risk of freezing during sub-zero conditions.
02 — Combination Emergency Shower & Eyewash
Integrated constant-power heat-tracing cables provide active thermal protection for critical piping components, controlled by an independent temperature controller to maintain operation during freezing conditions
03 — Cold Climate Outdoor Design
Designed for outdoor industrial applications where freezing conditions may affect emergency equipment availability and additional freeze protection is required.
04 — Stainless Steel & ABS Protective Construction
Constructed with AISI 304 stainless steel (AISI 316L optional) combined with ABS engineering plastic protection, providing structural strength, corrosion resistance, and enhanced environmental durability.
05 — Hazardous-Area Configuration Available
Optional explosion-proof electrical components and heating configurations are available for hazardous-area applications, including Ex II T4–T6 requirements.
06 — Project-Specific Engineering Options
Available with customized voltage, electrical specifications, alarm systems, monitoring interfaces, and other project-specific configurations.
Optional Engineering Configurations
Pressure Reducing Valve
Optional pressure reducing valve (PRV) regulates high or fluctuating inlet pressure to maintain a controlled downstream pressure suitable for emergency shower and eyewash operation.
Anti-Scald Protection Valve
Optional anti-scald valve provides protection where excessive supply-water temperature may occur, helping prevent potentially overheated water from reaching the emergency flushing equipment.
Piping Connections
Threaded, flanged, and project-specific connection configurations are available to match site piping and project requirements.
Alarm & Monitoring
Optional activation monitoring and alarm configurations include flow switch, local audible/visual alarm, dry-contact output, and DCS/PLC interface.
Hazardous-Area Configuration
Explosion-protected alarm, monitoring, and electrical components can be configured according to the project hazardous-area classification.

Heating & Temperature Control System
- The electric heating system uses a constant power heat-tracing cable to provide active freeze protection for the eyewash piping.
- The temperature control system adopts a thermal resistance temperature controller. When the pipe temperature falls below the preset value, the heating cable automatically starts heating. When the temperature reaches the upper setting value, the heating system automatically switches off.
- The heating cable and temperature controller form a dual temperature protection system, helping maintain suitable flushing conditions while preventing excessive heating of the internal water.
- The explosion-proof control box is equipped with power and operation indicators, allowing real-time confirmation of equipment operating status.
