Description:
The DAAO6620-DF is a cable-heated freeze-protected emergency eye/face wash station designed for outdoor industrial applications where reliable eye and face flushing performance is required under freezing conditions.
Designed as a dedicated emergency eyewash solution, the unit provides immediate flushing access for personnel exposed to hazardous chemicals, corrosive substances, and other industrial contaminants where a full combination shower system is not required.
The system incorporates a constant-power electric heat-tracing cable, insulation layer, and protective ABS engineering plastic shell to provide active freeze protection for critical piping components and help maintain equipment availability during low-temperature conditions.
With a compact pedestal-mounted configuration, the DAAO6620-DF is suitable for chemical plants, oil & gas facilities, manufacturing sites, and other outdoor industrial environments requiring freeze-protected eyewash equipment.
01 — Constant-Power Cable Heat Tracing
Integrated electric heat-tracing cables provide active thermal protection for critical piping components, with temperature-controlled operation to support reliable performance during freezing conditions.
02 — Dedicated Freeze-Protected Eyewash
Provides emergency eye/face flushing with active freeze protection for outdoor installations exposed to low temperatures.
03 — Insulated Protective Enclosure
The integrated insulation layer and ABS engineering plastic shell help reduce heat loss and protect internal piping components in cold environments.
04 — Controlled Eye/Face Wash Flow
The eye/face wash system provides a balanced flushing pattern, with optional flow-control configuration for stable and effective eye and face irrigation.
05 — Compact Pedestal Configuration
The floor-mounted pedestal design provides a dedicated emergency eyewash solution with a compact footprint for locations where a combination shower is unnecessary.
06 — Project-Specific Engineering Options
Available with customized voltage, heating power, alarm systems, monitoring interfaces, hazardous-area configurations, and other project-specific requirements.
Optional Engineering Configurations
Pressure Reducing Valve
Optional pressure reducing valve (PRV) regulates high or fluctuating inlet pressure to maintain a controlled downstream pressure suitable for emergency shower and eyewash operation.
Anti-Scald Protection Valve
Optional anti-scald valve provides protection where excessive supply-water temperature may occur, helping prevent potentially overheated water from reaching the emergency flushing equipment.
Piping Connections
Threaded, flanged, and project-specific connection configurations are available to match site piping and project requirements.
Alarm & Monitoring
Optional activation monitoring and alarm configurations include flow switch, local audible/visual alarm, dry-contact output, and DCS/PLC interface.
Hazardous-Area Configuration
Explosion-protected alarm, monitoring, and electrical components can be configured according to the project hazardous-area classification.
