Description
The DAAO6623EH-X is an electrically heated freeze-protected emergency eye/face wash station featuring a stainless steel eyewash bowl lid, designed for outdoor industrial applications where reliable eye and face flushing performance is required under cold climate conditions.
Designed as a dedicated emergency flushing solution, the unit provides immediate eye and face flushing for personnel exposed to hazardous chemicals, corrosive substances, and other industrial contaminants where a full combination shower system is not required.
The system incorporates an electric heating system, insulation structure, and temperature control device to protect water-containing components from freezing during low-temperature operation. The heating system automatically operates according to preset temperature settings, helping maintain equipment availability in cold environments.
The stainless steel eyewash bowl lid protects the bowl and spray nozzles from dust, contaminants, and environmental exposure when not in use, while providing enhanced corrosion resistance and mechanical durability for demanding industrial applications. Project-specific electrical specifications, alarm systems, monitoring interfaces, and other configurations are available according to site requirements.
01 — Electrical Heating Freeze Protection
An integrated electrical heating system provides active thermal protection for water-containing components, helping prevent freezing during low-temperature operation.
02 — Automatic Temperature Control
The temperature control system automatically switches the heating function on and off according to the preset temperature range, maintaining suitable operating conditions while preventing overheating.
03 — Combination Emergency Shower & Eyewash
Integrates emergency eye/face wash functions in one station, providing immediate flushing access for body, eyes, and face exposure incidents.
04 — Insulated Cold Climate Design
The insulated structure helps reduce heat loss and improves thermal performance for outdoor installations in freezing environments.
05 — Hazardous-Area Configuration Available
Explosion-proof electrical components and control systems can be configured according to hazardous-area requirements.
06 — Project-Specific Engineering Options
Available with customized voltage, heating power, alarm systems, monitoring interfaces, and other project-specific configurations.
Optional Engineering Configurations
Pressure Reducing Valve
Optional pressure reducing valve (PRV) regulates high or fluctuating inlet pressure to maintain a controlled downstream pressure suitable for emergency shower and eyewash operation.
Anti-Scald Protection Valve
Optional anti-scald valve provides protection where excessive supply-water temperature may occur, helping prevent potentially overheated water from reaching the emergency flushing equipment.
Piping Connections
Threaded, flanged, and project-specific connection configurations are available to match site piping and project requirements.
Alarm & Monitoring
Optional activation monitoring and alarm configurations include flow switch, local audible/visual alarm, dry-contact output, and DCS/PLC interface.
Hazardous-Area Configuration
Explosion-protected alarm, monitoring, and electrical components can be configured according to the project hazardous-area classification.
