Temperature-controlled tank shower booth for hot outdoor plants
A stainless cubicle on city water will scald a casualty when the roof pipe sits at 50 °C, and it will starve the 15-minute flush if the yard main drops out. DAAO6604-8 is a temperature-controlled emergency tank shower and eyewash room: a 1200 × 1200 × 3950 mm 304 (316L optional) enclosure with a roof tank 1140 × 1140 × 1250 mm and a side-mounted cooling / tempering skid. Functions on the data sheet are eye washing, body showering, water cooling, optional automatic inlet and outlet, and optional sound-and-light or remote wireless alarm. Ambient is 5 °C to 55 °C. Power is 380 V / 50 Hz (other supplies on request). Inlet is NPT 1-1/4; drain is NPT 2. Flows meet ANSI and EN floors: shower ≥ 75.7 L/min, eyewash ≥ 11.4 L/min. Standards are ANSI Z358.1-2016 and EN 15154-1/2:2006. Explosion-proof grade and IP rating are custom when the plot is classified.
This model sits in enclosure systems. It is not the shorter DAAO6604 cubicle without a roof tank, not the indoor DAAO6607-A tempered skid, and not a cable-heated open pedestal. Why a roof tank plus a cooling skid
ANSI/ISEA Z358.1-2016 still wants ≥ 75.7 L/min at the shower and ≥ 11.4 L/min at the eye/face wash for 15 minutes, at a velocity that will not injure, and at a tepid temperature a person can endure. Fifteen minutes at the shower floor is about 1,136 L. The 1140 × 1140 × 1250 mm tank (custom sizes available) is the stored volume sitting over the booth so gravity and a short pipe feed the rose even if the 1-1/4 inlet is weak. Water cooling on the side skid is what keeps that inventory from cooking when the ambient is 55 °C. Heat tracing on a pedestal prevents ice; this package prevents hot stored water. If the client also needs freeze protection below 5 °C, that is a separate heat option — the catalog ambient starts at 5 °C.
An emergency eyewash and shower station in a booth gives wind break, spray containment, and a place to strip clothing. The side unit is a packaged chiller / tempering plant: gauges, controller, and circulating connections into the tank. Automatic inlet and outlet, when ordered, refill the tank after a weekly test and dump or make up without a hose on the roof. Alarms tell the control room the shower or eyewash was pulled.
304 or 316L, 1.2 mm walls, 2 mm tank
The room is 1.2 mm stainless; process pipe is 2.5–3 mm; the tank inner wall is 2 mm. 304 is standard. 316L is the chloride, coastal, and bleach upgrade. The 3950 mm height is the booth plus the tank stack — check door lintels and crane reach before the truck arrives. Drain NPT 2 is larger than a pedestal 1-1/4 because a 75.7 L/min rose plus eyewash will flood a small outlet. Pipe it to a chemical sewer or neutralization pit, not storm water. The 380 V / 50 Hz feed is for the cooling skid and any automatic valves; 60 Hz and other voltages are listed as custom.
Cold-climate and hazardous-area badges
The product is tagged for cold climates, outdoors, and hazardous areas. Read those against the numbers. Outdoor is true: the enclosure is a weather booth. Cold-climate as shipped is 5 °C minimum ambient, not −25 °C cable heat. Hazardous-area suitability is “customized available” — Ex glands, motors, and beacons must match the area drawing. Do not assume the standard 380 V skid is Ex d.

How this booth differs from the rest of the enclosure line
DAAO6604 is a compact enclosed shower without this roof tank and chiller. DAAO6607-A is an indoor yellow skid that mixes tepid water for heads elsewhere. DAAO6615-EH-Z is an open combination pedestal with 200 W trace to −25 °C. DAAO6604-8 is the hot-climate tank room: store the 15-minute volume overhead, cool it, shower inside the 1200 × 1200 booth. Do not order this SKU if you only need a door-mounted indoor eyewash.
Questions buyers ask before the PO
Is the tank big enough for 15 minutes?
A 1140 × 1140 × 1250 mm cell is on the order of 1.6 m³ if filled. ANSI shower duty at 75.7 L/min × 15 min is about 1,136 L. Confirm usable volume, freeboard, and simultaneous eyewash on the drawing. Custom tank sizes are listed.
Does “water cooling” mean tepid water?
It means the skid can pull heat out of stored water so a 55 °C afternoon does not deliver scalding flush. Set the controller to the ANSI tepid band (commonly discussed as about 16–38 °C). It is not a domestic air-conditioner for the booth.
304 or 316L?
304 for most inland outdoor plants. 316L for coast, chlorides, and bleach. Tank and booth should be the same alloy.
Will it run at −10 °C as shipped?
Not on the 5–55 °C line. Order a heat package or a freeze-protected pedestal for winter yards.
